24 hours ago (1115pm Monday)- first show of triple j monday night hip hop with new host : Hau Latukefu. no more ultra cutie maya jupiter : female mc who has booted it to LA4Luv; new guy plays some good loops incl South Bronx by KRS1, but a few podcasts as training may have helped his radio style. anyway, listen to for 60mins using the sleep function, am asleep by 1215am.

630am today - hughesy + kate wakeup alarm, kate getting very excited about the mount gambier incest father/daughter couple for second day running following sunday night TV, amid confirmed claims that 60 minutes have gone jerry springer for good now.



7am - vegemite toast + coffee#1, open the first tabs for the day : google reader, a vc, feld, techmeme, wesmirch, friendfeed, flickr, timezone watch forum, cayman club car forum.

8am - review wireframes, UI, use cases, intranet docs for project, quick scan of .ppt to present at 1030am. Is this the 3G iphone, which running on Telstra NextG I must say (which my mum just got so she has reception at Shoreham - its the only network) and then it would be superfast, i digress but a superfast 3G iphone on nextG would be about the only thing to get me onto Telstra. Oh btw, where is my fn blackberry faceless insurance company ?

83oam - on the road again, last $20 goes on petrol (that would be $100K+ of outstanding account receivables and im counting petrol guzzling, fk), guess wrongly i may need up to 2 hours to get to 1030am presentation for 12 month project that has finally shipped and goes live in 2 weeks yay!

12pm - coffee #3 at oakleigh coffee shop. told by VC's to get powerpoint pitch into sequoia's business plan format, ok where can i find 6 hours so I can start an Inferno : "Start with only a little money. A huge market with customers yearning for a product developed by great engineers requires very little firepower." - I couldn't have started today with less money, having 50 cents in my pocket before a quick draw-down from our accounting department, known as my cofounder, while the three of us sit in a coffee shop breaking down how (insert any number here, ok bingo lets use) "$5m" of working capital would theoreotically be spent. Enuf of that drive from Oakleigh to Richmond, Dandenong to Williams Road, park off Church. Its hotter than I thought today, already smelling bad.

130pm - in the ferrari/maserati dealership on church st in richmond, with all the hot vehicles. about 8 metres from where i sat watching burls eat his chicken veggy wrap was a navy blue demo maserati gransport 08 model : i could get the keys, slot into reverse and drive into the sunset. (while probably stalling in reverse if i didnt miss it, and then scrape it into a wall) did i mention there was a yellow F430 spyder, which i think downunder run for about $430K. there wasnt any 430 scuderia or F599 GTB tho. there was a beautiful classic dino too.

2pm - waiting outside 2pm meeting, with a stack of genY skater types going in and out. trying to figure if this is an agency, modelling or mcdonalds. turns out to be a call centre which is one floor of a 15 company asx listed marketing group conglomerate owned by my 215pm starting meeting - a 29 year old ernst and young entrepreneur of the year type. we had a 1 hour conversation about viral mobile marketing models meets enterprise social networking to see who could talk faster; Kinda an EQ version of alpha male-off. not that its any comp, he has the dough. was a good game of ping pong but. guy started his first company at 19 years, and has been leveraging up since. up to $100m in revenue and $15m EBIT. impressive. out 90 minutes later.

345pm - across to williamstown for meeting on the strand. damn who knew the traffic would make it a 40 minute drive cross town. church st to victoria past vic market through dynon road, damn its all slow slow. its a way to kill 2 hours.

530pm - have no change and im late for meeting so accept im going to get a parking ticket, hope i only get one which i do. coming into city meetings really is not a cheap or easy exercise.

6pm - legend of them all lauren provides end of day stella + chilli chips (first food since toast), that hit the spot. but lulling me into false sense of security:) naagh its all good.. straight shooting is alot better than politics + telepathy games, so we have a quick meeting before the real meeting i'm here for, with a 20 minutes project debrief (on the other project - which is the main one:) from client for tomorrow's presentation becomes missile 1-2-3. people + ui stuff to fix. i'm going to have to action this stuff early. and firmly.

630pm - japanese restaurant booking next door to clients office. order asahi. start with sashimi. then a truckload of raw beef they cook on your table. yum u gotta luv japanese. conversation is automotive meets second life meets fantasy markets on social networks. vinteresting. client and staff is doing same 100km charity walk friday/saturday my brother and his work is (thats shoreham to tullamarine in my world or 12 X 18 holes = 196 holes of golf holes to walk!) coffee # 4 and I'm off to hit the final 70kms.

930pm - start the 90 minute trip back. get in just before 11pm. check mininova.org and alluc.org for new skins episodes, yay the new one with cassie (series 2 episode 9 is out! there is even a musicguide for the ep from a skins blog) OK credits rolling, set alarm for 630am, leave by 8am for 830am in Rye.

1243am - Press Publish. Set iMac to sleep. Night.

630am - Hughesy + Kate Nova100 alarm will go off. Cassie is not happy. Altho its nice it is light now when u wake, it's just the 10c degrees thats not so much fun. Lucky Apple macs are nicenwarm !
