Going to be 33C degrees today, and Nick Carr has an expansive stream guessing at Google's 5 consolidated products, with "features" as subset. Contrast this with the 1.0 google 20% model, in which decentralised cells launch new verticals and standalone products (greader, gpersonalised home, orkut, gfinance etc)
Adsense is brilliant, but in terms of product development, Google is still going to end up in 2-3 years where Yahoo is today and covered with Peanut Butter. As long as they keep earnings growth up !
