Online Job Classifieds PacMan
Interesting Newscorp's second investment in online job classifieds, this time in the UK. PaidContent : "News Corp.: it has bought out Milkround, the UK graduate recruitment site, for reportedly around £20 million or $37 million. The purchase follows on the heels of an investment it made in April to buy a stake in Simply Hired."
Now all that needs to happen is to see what the more candidate, business networking, algorithmic shortlist scoring, self-service cost per click job ad world, post Linkedin/Monster/Careerbuilder/Seek looks like. Jobster is sitting in a very nice position. (ditto simplyhired.indeed.. if anyone has any recent stats for these companies re usage, revenue etc that would be very interesting) Milkround site here.
