Off to the footy but Valleywag linked to a funny quote in the Guardian from Google's Marissa Mayer Product Head (nb - i didnt realise - as article says - officially marissa is in charge of google news and the home page - i thought she was prod director on the lot.. but then the journos never really care or understand such distinctions.. that may just be the most obvious google products for a Guardian audience )

Marissa (who would make good friends with Condee Rice) is pumped about google anyway : "I don't believe it's true that you burn out sooner or later if you work 80 hours a week, as long as you keep the thing that's important to you sacred." (can this crash happen already, i want to see some pain :)
