So ASK.com Bloglines Blog Search has 1.5B items in it. gnoos has 1.5m. Thats 1,500,000,000 vs 1,500,000 items. Quality vs Quantity. I subscribe to the tech'mem'd world of quality sources, not quantity. Shite in Shite out, as I say about search. Esp if recency (dovetailed with quality) is a killa facta, which i think it is. The Now as Jones'y calls it. If I was the ASK blog search product manager, I'd also want my own URL/brand too : http://www.ask.com/#subject:bls|pg:1

Quality first - amen!
I have a friend that says, quantity kills, but quality thrills. I think he means that you spend yourself on quantity and it wipes you out. Spend yourself on quality and it jazzes everyone.
On the subject of "quality" have you ever read, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance?

michael - u will be happy to know, that book (zen motorbike) is on the bookshelf in our boardroom :) i "borrowed" i years ago from a friends mother's house - other authors include homer, kerouac, postman, foster wallace, david carson, dave eggers and others...

Neat to see Homer in your collection. I took 7 years of classical Greek in college and have been working on justifying that decision ever since. My father never bought any of my explanations. He said, "you have answers to questions people won't pay for."
