The latest Technorati report on the blogosphere this time covers international. Lots of interesting topline geo-points. This side observation and interrelationship is something I'm encountering a related trend in my data (which im making some bets on :)

My hypothesis is that various language communities have often grown on one service or another, often for viral or historical reasons, showing a disproportionate language breakdown for that service. For example, livejournal.com hosts a large number of Russian language journals/blogs, and MSN Spaces hosts an overrepresentation of Chinese language blogs."
