I missed this piece of MC Hammer gossip earlier in week (wrong damn priorities i tell you), whose blogspot is quite a good, if small, read. But I love this rumour on his 6 month stealth startup. From Suck My Blog : "A final name for the site will be decided on at a New York City company retreat this weekend. Sources say that Hammer is insisting that the site be called something like "MC Hammer's ___________.com" or having a tagline after the name that says something like "Stop! Hammer Time!" The commercials (and these are being filmed in a couple weeks to air during baseball's opening day games) would say something like, "Stop what you're browsing right now on the web! It's Hammer Time to go to _________.com" or something horrible like that. We hear that board members and marketing execs at the company are not crazy about those ideas, but since Hammer owns 51% of the company he has final say, natch."
