People who don't think the Skype Chainsaw on The Whole Telco market isn't worth anything to anyone is fundamentally wrong. The quote, from PaidContent who scraped The Wall Street Journal, shows why the Skype deal could double Google's revenue per user, in a theoretical relativist way, thus justifying a $3b price. "Skype CEO Niklas Zennstrom says the company would rather make $10 a year from a millions of customers than aim for a smaller base of high-paying subs. "Google has $10 average revenue per user, per year ... We want to be as good as Google or Yahoo," he told the Journal."
