when alphas that get called betas are now 'first draft's!

I've had quite a few laughs to myself about Brad Feld's "I'm done with Private Beta's" post in the last fortnight. It seems if you get 5 people in a room, there will be at least 6 positions on what is alpha, and what is beta, all of which doesnt help in the project management blame game. So it's good to see the what do they do when leave from being Yahoo Local GM's new startup : Centr'd. It isn't alpha or beta, it's a "First Draft". Wonder if Brad thinks this is better or worse :D ?
